Beijing, September 24, 2025 - The International Construction, Construction Materials and Mining Equipment Exhibition (BICES 2025) opened on September 23 at the Beijing International Exhibition Center (Shunyi District). With an exhibition area of ​​more than 150,000 square meters and the participation of nearly 2,000 companies from around the world, the event has become a key industry event in Asia, showcasing global development trends in "high-end, intelligent and green."

For example, the American company Caterpillar introduced an ultra-large hydraulic excavator Cat3101 weighing 100 tons, designed for coal mines. Its special feature is maintaining full power when operating at an altitude of 4500 meters while simultaneously reducing energy consumption.

Chinese industry leaders are also demonstrating impressive solutions. Sany Group introduced the SW956E series of unmanned intelligent machines with remote control capabilities, and XCMG Corporation presented a full range of new energy machines. As Sany representative Liu Yafei noted, digital technologies based on artificial intelligence are already penetrating all parts of the creation chain, forming an environmentally friendly production cycle.

Market context: Chinese industry growth and international cooperation

According to the China Construction Machinery Association, the industry's total revenue was 816.5 billion yuan in 2024. Thanks to the “dual carbon neutrality” policy and the “Artificial Intelligence+” initiative, Chinese industry is actively transforming, strengthening its position in the global market.

These innovations are especially relevant for Russian and Eurasian partners. As the experience of previous exhibitions shows, such developments of Chinese companies, such as equipment for working in extreme conditions, have already proven themselves in the Russian market, helping to implement projects in Siberia and the Arctic.
